"Teenage Girl's Group ~ Moxie-style Revolution" is an uplifting 4-week program for 13-15 year old teenage girls or nonbinary people.
Our vision is to support participants to confidently express their needs and boundaries. We celebrate who we are and who we are to become!
Friendships, intimacy, consent, healthy relationships, body image, social media impact, self-care, etc. are possible topics to flow into our revolutionary magazine (inspired by the movie Moxie). Having a voice is empowering!!
We finish off our 4-weeks together with a special mother-daughter celebration.
To include parents on this journey, we offer one evening session just for the mums and one evening for the dads. There we discuss topics related to raising teenage daughters and how we best support them to thrive.
Kamala Rose (co-mentor) has kindly offered her beautiful home in Wilsons Creek (10 min. from Mullumbimby) to be used as the space for our girl's groups. Her home is spacious and light-filled, surrounded by pristine rainforest, a small farm, and fragrant flower gardens.
We Acknowledge the arakwal people of the bundjalung nation as the traditional owners of the land on which we live and gather. we pay respect to elders past, present, and future, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
