Celebrating who we are is important to step up with confidence!

Karin Lucia Gisler is offering her inspiring teenage program in the Byron Shire, starting on [no dates set yet]. The program goes over 4 Sundays. TEENAGE girls aged 13-15 are invited to attend this empowering group!
The vision is to support young people to express their needs and boundaries confidently. We celebrate and honour who we are! Come and gather with us, meet new people, have empowering conversations, create an awesome teen magazine (inspired by the movie Moxie), and finish with a powerful celebration of who we are and who we are to become.
Friendships, intimacy, healthy boundaries, body image, etc., are possible topics to explore and flow into our (r)evolutionary magazine. Having a voice is empowering!!
To include the parents in this journey, we offer one separate evening circle just for the mums and one evening circle just for the dads. There, we discuss adolescence-related topics without the daughters being present.
Our Teenage Girls groups are a happy place, an opportunity to meet with other teenage girls, have inspiring conversations, receive great tools supporting you in life, explore what's present for you at the moment, etc. All this in a safely held space and supported by experienced mentors. This is a place to be heard and seen, a place where we can come together to hang out, have fun, ask questions, and talk about what truly matters to you!
If you are still with me, please read the following information carefully:
Once the first circle has started, the group will be closed. Unfortunately, this means any people wanting to join after this have to wait until a new group starts, hopefully around the same time in 2024.
We recommend that each girl who enrols commits to attending all 4 Sundays (or most of them)!
To further include parents in this journey, we offer one additional Mum's Circle and one Dad's Circle on separate evenings (dates to be set).
Dads Circle topics include: - Your daughter is becoming a sexual being. Can you cope with this? - Father-daughter relationships - Challenges and delights of raising a teenage daughter - Menstruation and the importance of honouring and celebrating "moon time".
It is always beautiful to see how rock solid the dads show up when it comes to supporting their daughters. This is a great opportunity for the dads to connect amongst themselves and receive valuable information about their daughters becoming women/ young adults. I hope fathers are interested in participating in this journey, but if not, the daughters can still enrol and participate.
In the Mums Circle, we can drop into a safe space and experience how it feels to be fully held and heard amongst women. It is always amazing to meet all the mums and spend quality time together. We get to know each other, listen to what moves through us, and talk about the Teenage Girl's Group. We look at our self-care patterns, challenges, and delights of being a mum and a woman. We explore the beliefs we formed when we were our daughter's age about what it means to be a woman and more. Again, this is an excellent opportunity to gather and connect deeper to form a supportive community between ourselves. I highly recommend the mothers attend the Mums Circle evening.
It is crucial for parents to grow together with their children to best support them and to heal the wounds from our own past. Please bear in mind most of us were not celebrated when coming of age, and often we didn't even have the appropriate information needed to step up. This is the time for us NOW to heal and celebrate together with our daughters.
For this 4-week program, we invite girls and non-binary people aged between 13 and 15 to participate (age recommendation but flexible). The circle is open for a maximum of 13 girls.
Confidentiality is important to us!
What's said in the circle stays in the circle. This means what other girls say or experience in the circle is not shared with any outsiders. We, the mentors, agree to the same confidentiality rules. Personal information is not disclosed to parents or outsiders unless there are safety concerns. The girls are encouraged to freely talk about their own experiences and the general content of the circle with family and friends if they wish to do so.
What we do in the circles is very transparent, and we send emails to all parents before each circle with a reflection of the previous circle and the content of the next one. So, you are always up to date about content and general happenings.
*** INVESTMENT for the program: $390 ~ $540 (sliding scale*) Included in this price are all the costs for this journey with us: Four girl's circles, including craft and art material, the printing of the magazine we created, afternoon tea for each circle, presents of completion, one mums circle and one dads circle, two experienced mentors.
* Sliding scale guideline: We have created a sliding scale to support families with a lower income. Every family pays an amount between $390 - $540, according to their income. That means roughly $390 for a low-income family, $450 to $500 for an average-income family, and up to $540 for a more abundant money flow.
Contact Karin if a payment plan is needed or if you have any questions.
Our vision is to spend quality time with your daughters and keep our gatherings lush and special!

Adolescence can feel overwhelming for our kids and for the parents. So coming together in a safely held circle with supportive mentors, being encouraged to have a voice by creating a revolutionary Girl's Magazine is a great way to offer young people gentle guidance and a form of empowerment through teenagehood!

Karin Lucia Gisler is a qualified youth mentor, creator and leading facilitator of this 4-week program. She's also the creator of the popular 6-week "Coming of Age Circles for Girls" program. She completed a mentoring training led by Katherine Krueger (Journey of Young Women), who prepares women to become mentors for girls in holistic coming of age education.
Karin offers many treasures to the world. Her inspiring stories and wisdom were seeded by her nature-connected upbringing, extensive world travel, participation in ceremony and ritual, self-development courses, and women's mysteries studies.
Karin holds a Diploma in Youth Work and completed other educational courses related to working with young people. She is also a graduate of the School of Shamanic Womancraft, a year-long educational program for women, cultivating a deep personal and spiritual connection with the Earth and the Divine Feminine.

Want to know more about Karin and what inspired her to work with young people?
Swiss-born, Karin lives in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia, where she raises two amazing children. She has been a great world traveller, keen to learn about different cultures, customs and how people relate with each other. Eager to learn about different religious beliefs, hear wisdom of ancient traditions and sit in ceremonies with people who are strongly rooted in their beliefs and traditions. Karin had the privilege to meet and live with very interesting people during this journey.
During the past 15 years Karin has sat in many women circles around the world and has experienced the importance of being supported, held and heard by others. After completing her JOYW (Journey of Young Women) training with Katharine Krueger, she realised how important it is for girls to experience this support. She feels called to share what she has learned with her community. Especially with the girls who are coming of age and with their parents. In her holistic coming of age program she is weaving together what she has learned travelling around the world, the wisdom she has gained on her Four Season Journey with the School of Shamanic Womancraft, the information she has received in her JOYW mentor training and the years working as an instructor for this organisation.
Karin is also a traditional Thai Massage practitioner and teacher, a qualified ABFE practitioner (Australian Bush Flower Essence), holds a diploma as a ‘Drogist’ (pharmacy-related education in Switzerland) and has studied Marketing, Acupuncture, Reiki, Foot Reflexology, Yoga, Meditation and other healing modalities.
Imagine the ripple effect of positive change young women can create in our communities if they have learned how to be true to themselves, if they have learned to dare, to be confident and to feel empowered!
